ELES BOOTUR 99
Looking like eight bears
Thrown down,
Near the mountain gorge
Looking like nine hungry wolves
Placed one after another,
In the rear end
Of this cursed land,
In the back end
Of this damned land.
As soon as Eles Bootur entered
A fetid terrible track,
He heard crying and shouting
Heavy groaning
From a far distance.
Eos Tardar’s huge lair
Rising up to clouds
Like a big mountain
From a far distance
Was seen and heard.
Having invited
His close friends
From a remote distance,
Wishing to treat
His eighty-eight hungry friends,
Of Arsan-Duolai relatives,
Coming up to the crossing
Of eight roads,
Shrieking like an old bear
Made them come to him.
Wishing to feed well,
Standing at the crossing
Of nine roads
Moaning like a wolf
He gathered them all.
Not regretting that they were
The abaasy relatives,
Thinking only about food,
Plump as a barrel,
Stout as a tun,
Thick as a stove
