                              Pulled out the sharp beak
Of the great witch, broke into pieces.
                              Having lost her magic
                              She was kneeled down,
                              She was thrown down,
                              Her head was pulled out
                              And thrown away behind.
                              It rolling down
                              Got to the threshold
Of Buor Mangalai, who’ll not move
                              If you cry at him,
Will not raise himself a little
                              If you shout at him,
                              Having the gloomy Sun
                              And smell of burning,
                              Greedy and gluttonous,
                              The owner of all devils
                              He was.
                              “What is it ?
                              Is it enemy’s head
Or clot of blood ?” Mr i
                             A poor old woman
                              Trembling came up to it
                             And suddenly shrieked out:
                              “Oh, you’re a fool
                              It’s our daughter’s head” —
                             And she burst into tears.
                             The old man hardly uttered
                              “Oh, my poor child!”
                             His heart was bleeding and
                             He was out of mind.
                             Eles Bootur the Great
                             Weakened the strength
                             Of his enemy at last.
                             He made him jump
                             Nine times on one leg,
                             Eight times on two legs,
                             Sat on his back and
                             Made him gallop.
                             At last shrieking out
