To cheer them up.
Fat horses were killed
While running,
Plump horses were cut
While walking,
Yards and valleys
Were full of fresh
Beef and horse-flesh.

A bowl of melted butter
With a wooden dipper,

Were placed
Friends and relatives
Were treated generously,
