Part II
Some time followed after his wrong-doing, and there was no sign
that something would happen. The brother with his three sisters continued
to live well in happiness. Suddenly one night his younger sister Kiis
Chereliin had a terrible nightmare and woke up in a great fear. She
dreamt that a devil warrior from the Lower World came and stole the
three sisters. Upon hearing that, Eles the Bootur got up immediately,
bound the braids of his sisters together, and rushed with them to the
North. They reached a great ocean of Muus Kudulu covered with ice,
and Eles the Bootur dived in the chilly waters of the ocean. On the
fourth day, the sisters began thinking that their brother died and cried,
but at that moment he jumped up back and was angrier than ever. He
took his sisters by the braids and headed to the lower edge of the Western
sky. Upon reaching the destination he put his spear in the ground with
the blade upward. He climbed to the top of a huge larch and jumped
down to the blade of his own spear. The spear bent unable to pierce the
skin of the warrior. When he noticed his sisters scared, the young man
became even more angry, took his sisters, and proceeded in the direction
of the Southern sky. Reaching the place, he made a huge fire and jumped
into the middle of the fire. After three days his sisters thought that he
burned alive and began to mourn. Suddenly he jumped out of the fire in
a great anger and wanted to punish his sisters, but they asked him to cool
off and gave a promise that they would always depend on him and would
never draw his attention away.
Once Eles the Bootur went hunting. He was at the beginning of his
fortunate hunting when a storm from the North came. The sky became
covered with the black clouds. The dust covered the earth. It began to
rain and snow with lightning and thunders. When it stopped raining the
sky cleared but the ground became frozen with ice from cold. Now Eles
the Bootur noticed a smoke coming from the North. He remembered
about the dream of his younger sister and ran quickly home carrying his
quarry.
That was an ugly devil warrior named Ehekh Khabar Tearing the
Guts who came riding the ox. He immediately began by introducing
himself and singing to explain the aim of his visit. He demanded if
Aitaliin Kuo with hairs of eight sajenes would marry him. Hearing for
the first time the song of the evil, the sisters became scared for death and
lost their conscience. Using this opportunity, he protruded his right
hand through the chimney of the fire-place and caught two elder sisters
and carried them away despite their cries and begs to let them free.
Eles the Bootur Mounted on Black Bear reached his home and found
his younger sister Kiis Chereliin fainted. He was so upset and angry that
