go with war, when he heard the abhorrent song of Ehekh Khabar who
was returning back. A terrible fight began between them after cursing
each other. The fight lasted for thirty days, but neither could overcome
the other. Ehekh Khabar was the first to rest, and he asked his sister
Khaan Sarakhaidaan for help. Khaan Sarakhaidaan, a great shaman
woman, immediately came flying and dropped a fifty pound ball to her
brother. Ehekh Khabar caught the ball and threw it at the liver of Eles
the Bootur. Eles the Bootur tried to evade it getting down, but the ball
hit him on his head. He didn’t realize how long he lied without
consciousness but when he woke up, he took a vessel with water of life
which had been given to him by his mother before she passed away. He
drank part of it, and the rest he poured on his body making himself even
more stronger. After that he made a fire, preyed, and made his farewells
to the spirits of his native land. Then he left for a long journey. He made
a rather fast journey as it was worthy for a man of Olonkho. He reached
a road called Khaan Djargnstai which leaded to the country of battles
reigned by Kiilariiya Khaan Khotun. Going down the road, he saw three
devil warriors named Uot Urbaldjiin, Tong Duurai, and Kyusteekh
Kpsyule who were fighting a woman warrior Kiis Nurgun. They were

г already close to winning her, and Eles the Bootur could not stay aside.
He pushed Kiis Nurgun aside and took her place fighting the devils.
<?£ / They were fighting for thirty days, and even the moon was weeping. At
the end he made a glorious victory, throwing away the slashed pieces of
flesh of the devil warriors, making the blood-pouring feast and pleasing
a spirit of battles Iirer Emeget Kustuktai the Maiden.
As a rescued person, Kiis Nurgun said the words of sincere gratitude
and gave him a promise that she would repay his good deed for her
behalf. After this, she turned into a three striped golden eagle and flew
away back to her motherland.
Eles the Bootur, feeling a slight disappointment that he lost so
many days, continued his journey. On his way, he decided to have a
short rest beside a stump in the woods. Soon he found out that there
was a hole in the stump, and a blue smoke was coming up from its
interior. He watched it quietly and heard something. It was a
conversation of tiny old man and woman. Hiding, he looked inside the
stump and saw that they were eating happily and discussing their past
and future. The tiny old man was Seerkeen Sehen, famous for his
wisdom. Eles the Bootur became even more interested as Seerkeen
Snhnn began to talk about the destiny of the young man. After listening
what would happen to him in his future, Eles the Bootur continued his
way. No one knows how long he traveled, but at the end he, rdatmetf a
very beautiful and picturesque country. He understood that at last he-
reached the country of Kitigiras Baraanchai brothers. He:was greeted j)
