ELES BOOTUR 4 3
Choked between the hummocks.
The four thick poles
Supporting their huge dwelling,
Slightly swayed.
Ninety-nine central supporters
Shook unsteadily,
Its cross-beams got loose
Ready to fall down.
The bravest ones got into beds,
The best ones hid in the larder,
Not cowards ran to the cattle-shed,
The worst ones got under beds.
The spacious sky became smaller,
The bright sky became dirty,
The white sky became gray,
The great sky became gloomy.
Cold clouds appeared,
Red clouds ran side by side,
Dark clouds grouped,
Fleecy clouds scurried.
From the northern side
Black clouds looking like
Bear skin thrown here and there
Bristled up quickly,
The sun was covered with
Heavy charcoal clouds.
It thundered loudly as if
It was running above the clouds,
There were flashes of lightning
That sparks rained down.
Thunder and lightning as if
They were competing
Who is stronger and more dreadful.
From the eight points of the huge sky
Eight terrible thunders split,
From the nine points of the white sky
Nine resounding thunders burst out.
The sky split, the earth gaped
When ninety-nine times
The thunder banged out.
