ELES BOOTUR 5 3

                                                 You, insatiable glutton of
                                                 The remotest World,
                                                 Having a mercenary thought,
                                                 A ceaseless covetousness,
                                                 Soil face, bow-legged,
                                                 Bloody mouth, black dog,
                                                 You, rotter, dare offend me!
                                                 Bring back my two sisters
In the twinkling of an eye!
If you don’t, I’ll put you downwards
                                                 To tear up your back-bone,
                                                 I’ll put you backwards
                                                 To cut open your belly,
I’ll pull out your spinal cord
And raise your black blood up to the sky.”
Eos Tardar the Devil at last
Stopped his gaze at Eles Bootur.
Screaming out he flapped on his thigh.
                                                 The most frightening of devils
The strongest of all the scoundrels,
The night robber of the Low World
Glanced over the hero of the Middle World
From head to foot with his bloodshot eyes,
Opening his mouth, began to utter
                                                  His offence awkwardly,
                                                  His clumsy singing made shudder
                                                  And he kept on thundering:

                                                        Eos Tardar

                                                  “Aar-Djaaly! Aart-Tatai!
You are so small like a linnet,
So thin like a reed and
Have the cheek to object to me!
                                                  I’ll strike only once
You’ll be a dust, you, idiot!
                                                  I’ll kick you only once,
                                                  You’ll disappear, you, fool!

You are not worth of my teeth.
